How does MAMP PRO work?
If you're using a MAMP PRO license, you can download and install MAMP PRO without having to configure it at all. You'll have all the features of MAMP PRO, such as Databases, Web Sharing, and the Database Browser.
You can use MAMP PRO’s web sharing functionality to access your local MAMP PRO configuration settings from another device, such as your phone or laptop.
MAMP PRO Databases
Save the following file to your desktop:
/Applications/MAMP PRO.app/Contents/Resources/MAMP PRO/Database/MAMP-PRO.sqlite
Once you've downloaded this file to your desktop, you can launch MAMP PRO via the MAMP PRO application icon in your Applications folder.
You'll be prompted to enter your MAMP PRO license and password. If you don't have a MAMP PRO license, enter your email address and your password and click on "Get Your MAMP PRO License."
You can then browse through your Databases. If you don't see your MAMP PRO Databases, please check out the next section for instructions on how to restore your MAMP PRO databases.
How can I restore my MAMP PRO databases?
If you can't see your databases in MAMP PRO, or if you've purchased a MAMP PRO license, click on the "Restore Database" link in the application. This will open up the MAMP PRO Database Browser.
Enter your email address in the appropriate field, and then click on the "Restore" button. You'll be able to navigate through your databases and restore them in a matter of seconds.
If you're using a version of MAMP PRO prior to 6.2.0, you'll need to use the instructions below to restore your databases.
